Aeoliah ever since he released his debut album, Inner Sanctum in 1981. However, due to
several recent letters from devoted readers of this column asking for information and
opinions on Aeoliah's recordings, I decided to re-examine his prolific work. Aeoliah is a
composer who approaches music as not merely an adjunct to a spiritual path, but as a true
sadhana, or path in itself. Aeoliah's musical/spiritual evolution has now brought us a
true masterpiece creation in the form of 'The Seven Chakras: Crystal Illumination.' This
powerful, 60 minute tone poem is specifically designed to awaken and energize the seven
vital centers of divine energy that lie within the subtle body of each person. These
centers, or chakras, are arranged in an ascending system of spirals along the spinal
column, and allow latent emotions and blockages to be released as each chakra is awakened.
The beginning of the album is initiated by a deep, resonating gong which seems to vibrate
the very core of one's being at the lowest center of primordial existence and survival,
which is located at the base of the spine. From this point, the music ascends. A

'Hearts of Fire' the first of four selections on this recording, is a tranquil journey
with piano and synthesizers. The second, titled 'Oasis' shows Aeoliah's keyboard mastery
